How it works
Each line amount is quantity × rate, rounded to the currency precision. Subtotal is the sum of line amounts. The percentage discount is rounded and subtracted first. Tax is then applied to the discounted subtotal and rounded. Total = subtotal − discount + tax.
A worked example
An illustrative service at $200 with a 10% discount has a $180 taxable subtotal. A 5% tax adds $9, making the estimate $189.
What to watch for
An estimate is not an invoice, payment request, or booking confirmation. Check local tax rules and agree the service scope, exclusions, and validity with your customer. Your document is not saved on our server.
